Meatballs In Tomato Sauce Recipe

Looking for a good meatballs in tomato sauce recipe? This sauce has a nice assortment of flavors.
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup green onions, chopped
1 large egg
4 Tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1 Tablespoon olive oil or vegetable oil
1 medium sized onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 small can tomato paste
1 large can diced tomatoes
2 teaspoons fresh thyme, chopped
2 teaspoons chopped fresh basil
2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary
salt and pepper to taste
In large bowl, combine beef, pork, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg and parmesan cheese.
Form mixture into 1 inch balls.
Heat the oil in a large skillet add the onions and cook fora few minutes until tender.
Add the garlic and cook one minute longer.
Add the meatballs and cook until done.
In a bowl, stir together the tomato paste, can of diced tomatoes, thyme, basil, rosemary, and salt and pepper to taste.
Pour into the skillet with the meatballs and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
You can serve these delicious meatballs with potatoes, pasta or rice.
